have a merry merry everyone! :)

so while we're waiting for our ferry to (hopefully) leave tonight around 11 pm, we were lucky enough to stop by jimmy and linda munroe's house to partake in some of jimmy's gourmet cooking. ok maybe it's not gourmet, but it's pretty damn good. anyway, what jimmy didn't know was that his son and his family (our friends chris and jenny and their two kids) were making a surprise trip up to spend the holidays with them in nova scotia from their home in massachusetts.

a couple of hours after we arrived, chris called his father to ask him to get on skype so they could have a video conference and so the kids could wish him a merry christmas. as any doting grandfather would do, jimmy jumped at the chance.

i followed him upstairs to continue my video blog, thank him for dinner and say hi to the chris and jenny.
